Our international volunteers recently traveled to Sofia for an unforgettable adventure that went beyond sightseeing—it was an opportunity for learning, cultural exchange, and hands-on initiatives. The group, hailing from various countries, embraced the chance to discover Sofia’s rich history and vibrant modern culture.

Their journey began with visits to iconic landmarks like Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, where they marveled at Bulgaria’s heritage. The group also explored Vitosha Boulevard, engaging with locals and participating in street performances, discovering the artistic blend of Sofia’s traditional and contemporary culture.

The trip fostered a sense of solidarity as the volunteers came together to discuss global issues like climate change and youth activism. They found common ground in their desire to make a positive change, and through these conversations, built connections that will last well beyond the trip.

By the end of the trip, the volunteers left Sofia with new perspectives, friendships, and a renewed sense of purpose. Their time in the city reaffirmed the power of youth in creating a positive, sustainable future.
This journey may have ended, but the initiatives and connections made will continue to inspire future projects and collaborations.
